Scott is the Commercialization Manager for the Office of Technology Commercialization at the University of Kentucky. In this role, he manages UK’s energy and materials portfolio by collaborating with UK Innovators to develop business models and commercialization plans for various technologies. He strategically directs the resources of UK OTC to maximize the long-term impact of each intellectual property (IP) asset.

Scott was previously the Associate Director for the UK Mass Spectrometry Core, where he worked with researchers to provide analytical capabilities and data analysis. With two decades of research experience at UK, his expertise spans engineering, biochemistry, biofuels and drug discovery.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Kentucky.
