Laura is the Project Manager with Launch Blue for the Office of Technology Commercialization at the University of Kentucky, where she is responsible for the UKI Innovation Training Program.  

Before coming to UK, Laura worked in the event industry for 17 years.  She was the Director of Sales at event venues in the Lexington area.  She also owned an event production company specializing in social and non-profit events.  She holds a Political Science degree from the University of Kentucky as well as a Master of Public Administration from Eastern Kentucky University.
