Methods to promote data reproducibility in laboratory research (pt 3)

General Workshop Series Description: The University of Kentucky Good Research Practices (GRP) Resource Center, a research support unit for the Office of the Vice President for Research, is offering a series of three workshops to encourage best research practices to support rigor and transparency in scientific research as well as offer practical tips and ideas to support data reproducibility in accordance with recent NIH requirements. Each attendee will receive a hard copy of the presentation material and a web link to a bank of research and quality management standard operation procedures (SOPs). A Training Certificate will be provided upon completion of all three workshops.

About the speakers: Dr. Richard Grondin is an Associate Professor of Neuroscience and Director of the University of Kentucky Good Research Practice Resource Center. Dr. Meagan Littrell is a quality management system consultant and auditor. Together, they have 15+ years of extensive experience and training related to regulatory requirements for non-clinical laboratory studies, including using quality management systems to support laboratory research.
